Project Overview
Lauriston Park is an Arvida Living Well Community which is situated on the highest point in Cambridge.
Amotto Consultancy initially worked with Arvida Lauriston Park to develop site-specific operational procedures for their aquatic facilities and then provided onsite staff training sessions for these SSOPs.
Amotto Consultancy also assisted Lauriston Park to have an automated slat pool cover installed, which saves on water consumption, energy and pool chemicals.
Site-Specific Operational Procedures:
- were written in accordance with NZS 5826:2010 Pool Water Quality, NZS 441:2008
Swimming Pool Design, and industry-specific guidelines - were presented to Arvida Lauriston Park in a comprehensive manual
- used as the basis for the onsite staff training sessions.
Onsite staff training sessions:
- familiarised the aquatic staff with the SSOPs
- ensured the aquatic staff at Lauriston Park have the capability to run a well- maintained, healthy and pleasant aquatic facility.
Upgrade Project:
- supply a custom-made slat cover for the swimming pool
- ensure the cover can be easily used by residents for access when required.
