Bob Owens Village

Project Overview

Bob Owens Village is a top-tier Ryman Healthcare retirement facility situated in Tauranga. As part of an overall facility upgrade, Amotto Consultancy was called upon to assist in renovating the village’s swimming and spa pool facilities.

This included not only meeting the requirements and improving the facilities but also following the best practice standards for water management in retirement facilities.

Project Outcomes

Amotto Consultancy provided project management and operational support to the Bob Owens Village and was with them throughout the project.

Outcomes included complete project management, resurfacing the concourse with a Degadur non-slip overlay, pool fibre-glassing, and leak repairs. The spa pool cavity panels were improved for easier access.

The updated Site-Specific Operational Procedures (SSOPs) were implemented, with a condition assessment completed in October 2023. As part of its long-term partnership, Amotto Consultancy continues to provide compliance, maintenance, and operational support on an ongoing basis.
