Kensington Park
Amotto Consultancy worked with Kensington Park to complete a Condition Assessment Report,…
New Zealand's Leading Aquatic Facility Professionals.
Project Overview
Gisborne District Council engaged Amotto Consultancy to develop a comprehensive Asset Management Plan for the Kiwa Pools Complex.
The project focused on creating a structured framework that supports long-term planning, risk reduction, and informed capital investment.
The plan aligned with asset management principles and relevant aquatic standards, ensuring the facility’s operational, compliance, and governance needs were integrated into the strategy.
Project Outcomes
Our team completed a detailed review of 500+ aquatic assets across 22 asset groups, modelling risk and prioritising renewal requirements to build a defensible 10-year investment programme aligned with asset management principles and relevant aquatic standards.
The Condition Assessment Report identified compliance requirements, prioritised maintenance needs, and provided costed recommendations for required works.
It also highlighted practical opportunities to improve the day-to-day function and operations of the facility, enabling a shift from reactive maintenance to proactive, risk-informed asset management.
