Project Overview
Amotto Consultancy initially worked with Puhinui School to complete a thorough assessment of their existing swimming pool facility, providing them with the understanding of the current condition of their swimming pool and what remedial work would be required to continue the use of the pool in the future for the students and community. We were later engaged to project manage the implementation of these recommendations to ensure the swimming pool could be utilised all year round.
Project Outcomes
The site Condition Assessment Report:
- identified compliance requirements
- prioritised maintenance needs
- provided recommendations and estimated costs for required works, and
- identified opportunities to simply improve the function and operations of the facility.
This provided Puhinui School with a clear understanding of the current condition of its pool and indicative costs for identified remedial and maintenance works that would improve the future use of the facility.
With this information Puhinui School was able to successfully apply for funding to complete the identified works within our condition assessment report. Amotto Consultancy was proud to project manage these upgrade works for the school, who is now able to offer their students a fit-for-purpose facility which also complies with NZS 5826:2010 requirements.
Working with Amotto Consultancy, Puhinui School has ensured that their students and community can continue to enjoy their pool, all year round, for years to come.
