Miranda Holiday Park

Project Overview

Tasman Holiday Parks Miranda is set in the Hauraki Coromandel region, an hour from Auckland, and is known for its geothermally heated outdoor swimming pool and cedar hot tubs. The park’s aquatic facilities include a geothermally heated outdoor swimming pool and six cedar hot tubs, five available for private on-hire booking and one for public use.

Amotto Consultancy was engaged to support the park’s aquatic operations, developing site-specific operational procedures and delivering hands-on training to ensure the team could confidently manage the facilities to a high standard.

Project Outcomes

Amotto developed Site-Specific Operational Procedures (SSOPs) tailored to the geothermal pool and hot tub setup, providing the operational team with clear, practical guidance for the day-to-day operation of the facilities.

Staff training was delivered on-site, alongside the handover of maintenance and water-testing equipment, ensuring the team was fully equipped to manage water quality and equipment upkeep independently.

Amotto continues to provide ongoing support to Tasman Holiday Parks Miranda, including microbiological water testing, regular site inspections, and ongoing maintenance and operational support to keep the pool and hot tubs safe and consistent for guests year-round.
