Importance of Water Safety Education

Water Safety New Zealand’s key objective is to have more New Zealanders respect the water and have the skills, knowledge and awareness to enjoy it safely. This is particularly important given the nature of our island nation and the popularity of water-based recreational activities. Providing this resource to children is of primary importance.
